Yeah, that was the plan. My cousin had been harping about how he was 'the only one doing anything' so I was going to give him a much needed break. Mom had other ideas. I hate to be this way, but my mood for the last few months has been 'fuck it'.

I have been burning through mine as well and we only get 32 hours per year.

Our son tripped and fell at daycare and chipped his tooth 3/4 of the way off. Nerve was exposed, extraction was recommended because of the severity of the chip, and trying to perform a root canal on a 19 month old is damn near impossible I would imagine. Needless to say my wife is irate, and we are both at our limit these days with all that has gone on in the past 2 months.

I pray 2020 gets better.

I would be pretty upset about this also. Kinda makes you wonder what they are watching the kiddos or just letting them run around unsupervised.

I would be, because I would most likely have to pay for it, but it happens. I've seen kids trying to walk let go of something only to plow face first into it. I'm not saying its the cost of raising a kid, but aside from putting the kid in a bubble wrap gimp suit the kid is going to get hurt.

Yep, we are both very upset about this, but he's a rambunctious little boy. This could have just as easily happened at home. I just hope something like this doesn't happen again.

Dealing with contractors is such a PITA.

I am getting prices for new counter tops in the kitchen with a tile backsplash, new counter tops in the bathrooms, and a retile of our master bathroom shower. Every contractor I talk to wants to redo the whole bathroom, NO, just quote the $%^&* shower and call it a day.

I was going to say bait and switch by telling them to quote both separately but say you've got the cash on hand to do one but might have money for both by the end of the year. The problem is I could see them trying to sabotage the rest by doing too much demo on the shower.

This is why I did my own kitchen renovation. Took down wallls moved plumbing and electrical,etc. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
