I'll admit I am mostly retarded so that phrase was all I ever heard through the series. I was not surprised I'd been hearing it right but was surprised they expected anyone to believe he would've been able to hold back that onslaught for any length of time. Still more believable than Walking Dead.

Well i lost a good friend yesterday..he took his own life. Another casualty of the opioid epidemic. These pills left him divorced, without his kids, jobless and homeless for a bit. Rob and i drifted apart for awhile due to heavy use and i never got the chance to reconnect with him before he passed. I am beyond grief stricken and burdened with gilt that i did not try harder to help.

Life leaves us busy with our own wants and often the cries of others go unheard. We need to listen better, i have learned that the hard way. Please do not turn your back on your family or friends.

He was a good man, friend and father and i will miss him.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I've lost a couple of great friends that same way. I sure miss them, you never stop wondering why. RIP

 

Wow that is sad. I’ve never been close to anyone who took their life but am close to someone who attempted to. It was a blow to the side of the head because I would have never expected it. And in this case, it was due to misperscribed drugs.

My wife and I are dead set on not taking drugs unless there is no other alternative.

I lost a friend earlier this year who took his own life. It is so hard to imagine.

This hits me hard, as I was able to get my son away from the junk only for his heart to give out.
