Well after a very wet, soggy, but an absolute awesome loonie run, the buggy is a little wounded but performed and held up great for what got thrown at it.

Friday I attempted helmet Hill and bounced off near the top and landing wrong side up. Impact forced my driver rear strut to over extend blowing out the shock chamber. But the 2nd chamber held pressure and I was able to maintain ride height and strut still worked. Had to limit travel though. If it drooped to far it made some horrible noises. But it held out all weekend.

Then late last night, after making 6 trips out the end ledge of river rock, my front driveshaft front joint spit out when my rf lower link at chassis side came apart. Was able to use my rear winch to hold it together to get it out of the trail and into trailer.

Mtrs held up great and work absolutely awesome in Canadian terrain. Cannot believe how well they grab.

Rocking out!

I was very impressed with the MTR's. They stuck like stickies in many places. And they did pretty good in the sloppy uphill mud too. :sonicjay: All in all, you should be very pleased with the buggy. But aren't you exaggerating a bit calling the weekend "soggy"? :d:

In that last one, to clarify, I bled the nitrogen out of the Struts to lower it to drive into trailer. I never lost ride height all weekend.

I have to use my front an rear winch to suck it down to clear trailer door. My rear winch was being used to hold a front link together so it was drivable.

Competed in the mustache run today, bad strut and all. Managed to blow the rear tcase seal out. And I believe on the final course I cracked the trans to tcase adapter, I can look through the hole in floor for shifters and see the crack and fluid pouring out. And may have damaged a shaft attempting bounty Hill. But unclear if I did or not. Almost killed @chevotass doing burnouts :teehee: there was just a little bit of smoke blowing into his rig.

Did pretty well in the comp. Ended up first overall by a pretty good margin. But lost in the "tie breaker" which was best of 5 in paper rock scissors :whiz:.

Was it fun, yes.

Was it worth it, probably not. Replacing the adapter is gonna require some pretty major disassembly to get it out.

I assume it was directed towards me? If so you read my comment wrong... Oh well its the mustache run its happened to many people. At least you didn't loose the trophy to a spectator like strangler last year . :)
