Well, thought I start my post for the XJ build. You may know me and my MJ but had to get rid of her for the XJ. More room for the kids. But Not looking back for now. So the low down is I kept my 33x9.5 tires and the heart of MiNi Beast. my 8.8 410LSD disks, so thats going under the XJ replacing the 8.25, mounting the 1 1/2" UBE and 4.5 RE springs. Front is getting 6.5" springs with the RK 3 link LA set up. The XJ is 2wd, but already has 4wd conversion started less the tranny and tcase. Which I have a AX-15/231 combo waiting to go in after the lift.
So my very first Jeep...89' Wagoneer
Then my MJ, bought for $100 down in FL and drove back to MI...

thanks man.

engine is in and runs. just getting back into house, work on it all night to get it done. Had little mishap with replacement engine needed a new freeze plug so reused one from my block, hope it holds up. So just have to bolt up exhaust, install rad and front clip and check fluids and should be a non-smoker again. :naughty:

WTF? no pix? :poke:

it's about time you swapped that motor. glad to hear it's going!

that old smoker that was in there was a trooper and just didn't want to give up the ghost. i cant believe it lasted as long as it did. it defiantly earned it's keep!

hope all is well with you. :thumb:

i got yo $20 :finger:

so bad alignment due to axle being offset 1" on one side, so ate up what was left of my 37's, so picked up a cheap set of 265/75R17 to get me by for the mean time. Boy can them tires spin with 5.13's, :sonicjay: nothing else much done to it except I crushed the tailgate on a tree so thats jacked up. oh well should buff out later.

Should be getting out more within the next month or so, just taking care of some of the little issues, then have to look for some 37-39's for the rig. :naughty:

was able to get a couple pics of the Jeep as it sits now. It is not the same without 37" tires on it. :( Just did a 10 min Rusto' paint job on it for the winter. looks good going down the highway, and all the runs give me an extra 10 hp. :sonicjay:

the skulls, I had bought a rocker sticker kit for $25 from auto zone. Turn out better then I expected I must say. wish i had bought a brand new electric wagner paint sprayer for the job then wouldn't of had the runs as i used a freebie one. But for $50 to have a new gun, $30 for a gallon of oil based paint, and $10 for tape, and just a nice day, can have a paint job on the rig for under $100 that is decent enough to spend $5 now and then at the car wash and not give a shit out on the trail about scratching it, as wal-mart stocks big cans of touch up paint.
