You are comparing the smallest engine in the fullsize, to the biggest in the canyon.
You're not very good at reading are you?

the v6 in the colorado is rated to 24
the v6 in the fullsize (as I already posted) is rated to 24
the V8 in the fullsise is rated to 23.

Your point remains invalid, unless you are going to get the stick shift 4 cylinder 2wd colorado (27) and compare it to the v8 crew cab fullsize (23) and even then your comparison for mileage would suck.

Why did you buy a WK and not a Tahoe?
Simple; personal preference. The WK is more ascetically pleasing to me than a Tahoe, and I was not concerned about physical outside size and inside leg room; I knew how much the WK had before I decided to buy one. Having owned a tahoe (OBS anyway), there is not much more room in that vs my purchased WK.

....and I got a good deal on it

$5000 more he could have a newer Tahoe.
If I was concerned about the size of a vehicle I would have not chosen a WK in the first place. They are not small SUVs, smaller compared to a tahoe, but not enough to make a difference IMO

As it has been stated already, you've apparently already sold yourself on a Canyon; we are simply stating how your reasons are incorrect for deciding to buy one. They do not get better gas mileage than a fullsize and in the long run are not any cheaper.

Those are arguments that I would use to convince the boss lady to let me buy a new truck. They really aren't true, but she doesn't know that.
