The other day I randomly popped into Realtor.com just to look around and this gem was the first thing to pop up, It is in the sub across the street from my house. So I sent it to Mis and she replied back with "I WANT IT!!! I am calling our Realtor". So I left work, ran home to meet up with them, to take a look at it, it's a complete SHIT WHOLE and we are most likely going to tear it down. But, it comes with close to 1000 foot of community sea wall access along with 2 acres of waterfront parks, Docks with a diving board, an island and a little beach, all within 600 feet of my front door. We offered 23k thinking they would counter a time or two but much to our surprise they accepted and we close this Friday.

We are entertaining the idea of setting up something like this as a Glamping Airbnb but at this point I just want them to take my check and close this deal.

I really do not need another project but how could I turn this one down. The HOH fees run $250 a year and the taxes will be around a grand a year but anytime I want to jump into the river or go fishing, I will be able to without anyone giving me any shit.

Sweet. What a steal!

We just bought a couple acres in the UP on Lake Michigan. 400+ ft of waterfront.
Currently there right now with poor service. Will post pics later.
I've been watching many of those plots as I drive through there a lot and we've been looking for land up there too.

Ultimately I want to be further out from people

We visited our acreage up in the Taquamenon Woods yesterday.
Now, St. Clair County might have some rules regarding the Airbnb plans. I'm in St. Clair County. My BIL tried to get his house on Lk. St. Clair in the program and they said he couldn't.
I did see that house on Zillow.

2 other houses in that sub are on Air-bnb so if they can I can at least until we get caught, closing not happening today have a meeting with the judge on the 9th for signatures, to close out the estate as this shit is working its way through probate.

Make a nice barn or business office.

Or throw it up at 38k and see if anyone jumps on it before the snow flies.

Well it took a lot longer than I would have wanted but we signed our paperwork yesterday.

And this Shit Box is now ours, I found it extremely ironic that this was setting in a pile of junk on the floor.

This weekend was the yard sale trail from Algonac to Port Austin bringing us hundreds of customers So, I told the kids whatever they could find in the house they could sell and keep what they earned. They took this as a challenge and spent all day Friday, Saturday and some of Sunday, scavenging, cleaning, sorting and selling anything they could get someone to give them a buck for. In total they raked in just under a grand, and a ton of fun memories. I don't think they got more than 20 bucks for any individual item but they moved a lot of Shit through out the weekend. As soon as stuff would sell they would dive right back in the piles and fetch more forgotten treasures from the house, clean them up, while Shea would look them up and Colt could sell ice to an Eskimo.
