you guys are killing me....i spent half the night going over every damn bolt, nut, joint ,yoke, bearing i could touch. i had another long talk with my jeep before i left the garage..so we shall see if it helped.

Couldn't help but do it. Plus, for the last race when you asked me if I wanted to ride along as a copilot, I didn't think it would only last for 1800 ft. I was hoping to get some good video of you...well, I guess I did, just not what I was expecting.

yours all ready paul? get a stop watch and something to count your laps with.that way you know were you are at on time and how many laps you do.

Looks like you only need one finger for your counter.:sonicjay::sonicjay:
:sonicjay:
so why don"t you come up and show us how it is done? paul is trying it so i think you need to give it a go.i bet you would have a blast jim.

Yup Erin, I do think it would be a blast and I've mentioned to my wife that I'd like to give it a try. However this weekend is out of the question. I'm thinking I'll let you get a little more experience and practice before I come and show you how it's done.:poke: Just remember when Paul shows you up that I'm his mentor.:sonicjay:

In the mean time, I'll see you next weekend.

i think paul is going to do real good. he has a great rig and is a good driver.i hope i get a chance to get behind him and blow my horn until he hits something.:sonicjay: 2 more races yet this year so you still have a chance jim.

the track is changed a bunch.that is all i will say.

Yep, hope so. I switched out the Milemarker hubs for the EORP flanges. Also replaced my rear flange caps for some new ones, so hopefully they won't loosen up and get fluid all over. Tightened and greased all the flex joints so it doesn't sound like some old bed springs.

Are they scratching the transponders since they didn't work last time?

I'm out for this one. Just put it all back together and then noticed that the harmonic balancer isn't so balanced. It looks like I need a new crankshaft, oh well. Good luck to everyone.
Looking like I'm back in. Have to make some adjustments tomorrow. Worked all day on it. Things are looking better. Hope to see you all on Saturday.
