Time for a little update. Mostly pictures, not many details to share.

I've spent most of the time since the last update wrapping up my degree. Throughout the spring semester, the most action my Jeep saw was the occasional drive up and down the neighborhood.

In the beginning of April, it got insurance put back onto it and I did a bit of cruising around whenever I visited my parents.

Then I graduated and was able to start taking it out. I've had it out three times so far this summer. Twice to Rocks and Valleys and once to the dunes.

The second rock crawling trip I broke my passenger side stub shaft but had a spare sitting on the shelf and was able to get it replaced without issue. Then I had a little scare during the dunes trip when my transmission vent fitting broke and the transmission puked straight onto the exhaust when I was really getting after it at high rpm. In the end, there was no damage to anything except the line and fittings. Best case scenario.

The post-graduation life has been pretty alright I guess... Last month I went on a work trip out to California involving this rig:

Then it was time to paint. Spend a few days prepping the new windshield and doing some skim coats of body filler on doors and fenders before spraying.

And here is the finished look all installed on the Jeep. I'm happy with the result with it being my first time doing body work and spraying and it's great to see it all one color for the first time.
