Axles acquired. Ended up with a drum rear because I didn’t realize they went back to drums in the sport trac, but $100 is still a good price. Will look into doing a disc brake conversion using the xj/tj rotors and a caliper with electric parking brake.

lifty mchoistface is probably my favorite purchase to date for the shop.

The power lift definitely helps get things done. Have thought many times about making something similar with an engine hoist, counterweight and air cylinder.

Sorry if pics didn't upload in order. Had a sticking caliper on my way home sunday. Upgraded front brakes, cut front fenders for LCOG 33x10.5r15 fitment. Have 2 33s mounted for mockup. Still need to cut rear. Trying to decide how much lift I really want to go with. Also patched up the front axle I picked up. Need to source some options for electric brake calipers for rear. Also did some more routine maintenance and did an oil change, made a custom thread-on funnel for filling, and swapped to some 4 hole injectors and an aluminum fuel rail. Ran into some shorts in the doors for the stereo, so a total of 7 patches later, have all 6 speakers working for the first time since I've owned it. Swapped most of the interior lights over to LED too, can actually see what's going on in the cabin at night now.

Hope to get the rear fenders cut and welded next week, and paint the rims and get the other 2 tires mounted. waiting on balance beads too that were supposed to show up already.

Decided to try some balance beads this time around.

did some rust preventer and rubberized undercoating to the wheel wells before slapping the front tires on. Getting the other two rims mounted up as we speak and plan to attack the rear fenders tomorrow.

Not too worried about having the perfect wheel arches since the long term plan is to get some armor plates and bend up my own tube flares.

Huge fan of the color on the wheels. That looks great!

Added some hitch wiring while i had it apart. Found this nice punchout to hide the wiring when not in use. Glad to not have that rolling around in the trunk like it did in herman. Curt custom plug and play was worth the coin.

tub wasnt in too bad of shape. Knocked tge loose rust off and hit with the rust converter. Carpet is musty and shot from the Lord knows what. Going to figure something out for a rubber bed mat that i can cut to fit. Laying down a layer of sound deadener currently

putting some nut serts where the stock d rings were to hold the rubber down, or maybe find some swiveling d rings with a through bolt design?
