But that's because of how well his rig was built wasn't it? I'm not trying to argue I was just throwing out an idea
no, it was driver. I have a well built rig and don't drive it all that well yet. therefore I'm not that competitive quite yet, but I'm learning quickly :thumb:

:sonicjay: the last couple comps that I've done, I finished middle or slightly above middle of the pack. I need to drive better :thumb: that's what I meant to show you it was more driver error

I will post up some more video of previous courses later this week as I have time to edit.

The new courses will be some of the same tight turns logs, jumps, small hill climbs. This is more of a driver challenge than a rig challenge. Only logical way I could break it up was by tire size as a larger tire rig might be more inclined to hit obstacles at a different speed.
Sounds like you're going to have to make a road trip or two to Bundy Hill to scope out a course :thumb:
The area they've used for the Pit Trash Shootout the last couple years has worked out pretty good. Not a huge course, so it's good for spectators, but still challenging for the driver.

How about a little info on what a course like this might consist of? I have no idea what to expect but just might like to get something together to go play against all the big bad guys one time. Just bumpy dirt 2 track with some mud, sand and a few jumps? Or big rock piles and major log piles to get over? Also how many laps would there be in a race? I guess looking at the class's there really is nothing for any thing that is stock or close? Maybe even a class for us "tired old men".
Hey Denny, check out the first post now for a video of previous races. I don't have any video from the smaller tire class at this time. I'm working on that, the courses will be this type of course.

On the cage rule, that would exclude any streetable vehicles besides Jeeps..... Not aloud to run say, a Cherokee or such?
I was also going to ask about this but with wranglers, I know a couple people who would like to run it but there cage just goes to the floor, not the frame. I'm assuming they will need to tie it into the frame to compete?
