My cat might be kinda old, But I would bet he can kick most other cats ass.

Update: September 2014
The cat that started this thread is not longer with us.

It's called "marketing"... Then again no one here is buying AEV spec'd vehicles. We're all the food stamp recipients of the 4x4 community
Speak for yourself, peasant. 🤣

“If only” AEV wanted to show their products to new entry level enthusiasts by outfitting the new Adventure Off-Road Driving School LLC Rubicon.
Just sayin……
I don't have that kind of pull, but I'd gladly hook you up with my friends and family discount.

I love that color combo.
Thanks, I'm definitely a fan of Sarge Green. Jeeps are one of the few vehicles I actually like bright colors on too, but don't mind the more muted options one but either. Options were limited on the used ones at the time, and I didn't want white and my wife didn't want red.....so green it is. I wish one of the blue, orange, or Gobi tan in our fleet would have been available at the time, but beggars can't be choosers.

I haven't paid much heed to the various trims and packages since pricing went banana's around 21 or so.

Decided to start looking into it when I saw piles of unsold 23's around, Mojave package with the rear locker and fancy suspension seems pretty fun.

Luckily there are two identical local and the dealers are fighting it out, it's not a terrible time to buy right now.

Yeah Gladiators in general have been selling horribly the last year or so, they're losing money on every one at this point. My coworker got a good trade in on his AEV JK and still got I think $22k off MSRP on his Mojave.

I've had quite a bit of seat time in the Gladiators, they're nice. Sports ride decent, Sport Max Tow is an impressive little midsize for using like an actual truck, Rubicon factory suspension is awful and is enough to make a person seasick on Michigan roads, Mojave is spot on for an out of the box capable comfortable Gladiator that'll easily package 35s bone stock. Load capacity isn't great, but that's not what it's meant for.

Thanks. Honestly plan to keep it stock.
I don't blame you, that's a great setup right there. That's what my wife should be driving in all reality, but I was personally invested in these parts, I brought most of them to market so it made sense in my head.

That is too nice to take out of the garage and get dirty. I'd just sit on a stool in the garage and look at it.
It's my wife's DD and she treats her cars like a junk drawer. Drives me fucking nuts, and she gets to hear about it every time I get in it or clean it. It seems to be working, mostly....usually....kind of.

I'm taking it to Windrock in July, prior to that the only cool fun it's seen was some powerline trails up north and a trip to Silver Lake. Bought it to be a nice, cool, fun, reliable Jeep for the family, then it sat at the dealer for 11 weeks last fall waiting on a warranty engine. Cars are dumb.

My wife will have her new Gladiator full of garbage by next Friday, and doesn't care.
