I have my theories... But considering she couldn't point to the clutch in under ten minutes I'm going to say it's the 200k on the trans that did it

Sorry to hear that Jim. Things can get pretty stressful with elderly parent. Do you have siblings that can help too?

Not that it matters since you are retired but this is exactly the type of situation that FMLA can cover. Hope he recovers well.

True. But time away from work can be added stress. Thankfully we didn't have any immediate retirement plans except snow skiing. But since it's 60 out today, that's a non issue anyway.

No reason you couldn't, just needs a flag, ORV sticker, and state park sticker. I don't feel like the weight would do it any favors though.

I watched them deny a guy taking his backhoe in. I don't know why he told them he wanted to or what their reasoning was, but I was around for the "WTF" when he was unloading it from the trailer and the argument with the people at the 10' whack-a-flag

That I could see, he was probably going in to build jumps or somehow "modify" the dunes. That's a lot different than going in with a big dumb heavy truck to drive around. Might be a different story if it's one of those Unimogs with a front end loader and backhoe, but I'm assuming that's not the case.

 

I saw a lawn tractor once lol.

 

Helped a buddy pull a 400 SBC out, rebuild it, and drop it back in over the past few weeks. She's much happier now that there's no holes in the pistons
