2 week countdown to finally starting to get longer days.

I'm glad I don't live in Chicago where it get's dark like an hour earlier though lol.
I live in NW Indiana. We're on Central Time, next county to the east is the border for the time zones. Yeah this time of year and the lack of sunshine gets to me at times. Add to that the clouds from Lake Mich. I get to see the sunrise for about 20 min before it gets covered up by the clouds :ROFLMAO:

All that on top of just having to live in Indiana in the first place? That's just cruel.

:ROFLMAO: Its not at the top of my list but I'm stuck here and have learned to enjoy it. Its a small town which I like. I live and work in town, takes me 10min to get to work. In town we have a mtb trail and three lakes I can swim/kayak. Lake MI and the MI border are 30 min away. I spend all my vactions in Northern MI and I've thought about moving there when I retire. But we'll see where my kids are at then.

In the last 3 days I have had 2 different buddies do me some solid favors without me requesting or instigating them. Both of which had to put there necks on the line and took some real risk stepping into my world. It is nice to know there are still guys out there willing to say fuck-it lets set things straight.

That's awesome. I had a reality check this past spring when 2 parts of our month long Utah trip went to shit. The generosity of my friends from MI along with people I barely knew in Utah was overwhelming. I came home with this attitude that I need to do more for others. The problem is that I honestly don't know how to do it. I put lots of effort into Holly Oaks, which everyone benefits, but I don't really do much on an individual basis.

I keep trying to pay it forward.....

Same thing happened to me this spring when my daughter was sick. The outpouring of support and donations from family, friends, employers, and strangers alike was unbelievable. Faith in humanity has never been my strong suit but that experience really changed my view of many people. It's easy to lose sight of that in the day to day bullshit, or even just a drive to the store dodging inconsiderate people on the road, but people in general are actually pretty awesome. I'd expect that sort of thing from my family and handful of close friends, but far more people came together when it really counted than I ever would have expected. We've been trying to pay it forward as well.

Shit, if it's $4.39 in town it's probably $4 at Mugg & Bopps or Randy's. The stuff in town is always a huge ripoff.

Same price according to my app. I've got a 60 gallon aux tank on top of my 38 gallon main, the aux tank has sat dry for about a year due to prices.

Was over $500 to fill the damn truck [emoji19]

Are you sure it's not #2? If it is you might want to use an additive if it's going to be in the tanks for any considerable about amount of time. You want anti gel additive, not just diesel 911, that only takes the water out of it...

Honestly I drive enough that I'm not concerned about it.
