My cat might be kinda old, But I would bet he can kick most other cats ass.

Update: September 2014
The cat that started this thread is not longer with us.

Now officially have too many projects started at once. And just took on tearing a truck apart for the frame.

before my project list was mostly stuff I wanted to do. Now I started like 4 different big projects...damnit lol

I've learned to not start too many at once because then you've got multiple projects behind. It's even more frustrating that way. Each project inevitably takes longer than planned, so whatever is in process will inevitably be behind, but whatever is done is done. I've got a ton of spring and summer projects lined up, but I'm at least not frustrated with all of them yet.

Case in point: My truck is nearing the end of its TLC. Lots of tear down, rust repair, body work, etc. Last cab corner goes on tonight and body work wrapped up by end of tomorrow night. Should be spraying paint Friday night or midday Saturday. Then reassembly. Took longer than planned/hoped but its almost done. Since it took longer my camper maintenance and flooring, along with my pool deck, are all now behind schedule before even starting. But in a week I'll have 1 project done and 3 behind schedule, which is a lot less painful than 4 projects all behind schedule.

Problem with projects is that there are the ones that you want to do and problems/projects that you have to do that force them to get behind.

I have one more "big" project I would like to get done before our baby is born in June but with all the weekends getting taken up by some other event my time is running out.

Really good point. I just didn't think, but luckily things are moving along. One time with the painting project, and in reality the truck project can wait, i'll have to look at it sitting in the front of my house for the summer.

The next big project I am doing is finishing my deck. Gonna see if I can get some help; the first deck project last year only took about 3 hours for a 8x16ft deck, with tearing out the old one. The rest is bigger, it is going to wrap around the house to our sliding door, so I believe 8x24 ft on one side, then another 8ftx8ft on the back side.

I gotta find my drawings with dimensions, calculated everything out for sizes and how many boards. Just think i Lost the drawings lol

I’m working on a theory that they are really extensions of a hostile foreign government and they are being used for nefarious purposes.
:sonicjay: Let me know your findings.

Damn things are popping up EVERYWHERE now, even the tiny villages.
They're not even a good store, that's what gets me. They're shitty stores that aren't even cheap like an actual dollar store

I hereby dub M46 “The Dollar Store Highway”

I hate to say it, but I fucking love Dollar General. It is almost 7 miles to Meijer/Walmart here. It is 3.5 to the local rape everyone small hometown grocery store that is still owned by an out of towner. (I think it's only survives on inflated prices and Bridge cards)

It is 2.5 miles to either of the local Dollar Generals, that have quality name branded stuff. They are also priced on par with a larger store in many cases. When you only need an item or two they are super convenient.

We drove M46 from Newaygo to Port Sanilac. Fantastic cruise!
It’s like a dollar stor on each corner, two and three per town.
We will do that drive again.

Right now I like driving, the cars are fun, I’m a tourist. After the move I’ll be burned out.
Note: I hate shopping. Home shopping is no different. But I really enjoyed zig zagging the MNF. My GPS sucks and gives me the “three hour tour”. It’s okay as long as I know where I’m going or I’m not in a hurry.

Anybody catch the SpaceX launch of Falcon Heavy tonight? Delivered their payload to space, and landed all three booster rockets back to earth... two simultaneously back at the launch site (they turned around!) and one on a drone ship 500 miles out in the Atlantic. First time they've recovered three at once. Super impressive.

Two departments at work are currently fighting for who gets to keep me on board. Haven't quite figured out if I go to the winner or loser :teehee:
:woot: Seems like a good problem to have.

I went to the junkyard yesterday to get a harness for my truck, no big deal. But then I had like 4 or five weirdos hovering around the truck I was working on. One dude rolled under the other side of the truck and I had to tell him to piss off....

WTF? My basic junkyard etiquette is kind of like my basic urinal etiquette, never use the middle, don't use the side by side unless you have to, never use the same. Is this not a thing?

I mean, it was a fucking Silverado, not something hyper rare, there were 30 of them out there.
