Is that a narrowed Full Size Grill?

I ask cause it seems that the width of the front is still the same but the head lights look bigger.

 

same headlights, same grille, count the blocks inside the grille. Its 10"s narrower in the front now.

 

 

It's just to damn hot to work outside right now

I am so sick of trying to notch tube with a chop saw, I want to make a few small peices to fit in some key positions. But I just cannot get the damn angles right with the saw to minimize the gap................A tube notcher is so on my short list of things to buy.

 

Funny thing is I have one but prefer the chopsaw.

Maybe I just need more time at it to get used to it.

lookin good john! this thing just looks better and better every time i see it.

 

I use a 6in grinder to notch tube with. I have cutting wheels for it and it it works great. I have a notcher also.

HAd a good trip to the BAdlands. Survived all the first day with no breaks, and almost all the second day. But the inevitable happened and I broke.

I busted my LF radius arm right off at the Stock Peice where the tube slides over, which led to my Shock getting all bent up, and my hub lockout and stub shaft shattered.

Heres some pics

Ended up getting winched up and over by two winches and we secured the axle with rachet straps front and rear and made the drive through the park and back to the camp ground.

I think the CTOR family needs to start a collection for him to purchase unimog axles.:teehee:

Either that, or we will have to secretly disconnect a couple spark plug wires before he tries any obstacle.:sonicjay:

Theres a video of the moment it all breaks......when its hosted I'll post it. It explains why all the carnage. The only part that through me was how the radius arm broke. I think it should have bent before it broke the way it did
