It is on the creek bottem trail and is a steep down hill with a big root sticking out and it sucks you into it. My buddy nick broke his trac bar bracket on it the first day.

i went around it, not up it

i did pick up some other body damage, heres the worst

some other various damage, i had to pry the fender off the door so i could get it open after slamming a tree, lots of rock rash on my diffs and driveshafts. Bent up the rear 8.8 diff cover, but it never broke the seal.

The leafs worked awesome, good flex and had no issues with wheel hop or anything else. I was amazed, i was banging on Purgatory pretty hard and had some nasty noises from the front but everything held and i made it up the line i was climbing. Three days and no real breaks and i drove it back on the trailer at the end of the trip. Thankfully i never had to test the cage. One improvement i could def use is stronger steering though. Steering was pretty weak, struggled there however, but got the job done.

Great jon. Im gald you guys had fun. I hope to go again this year but i dont know if that will happen.

yeah i would love to go back this year but it most likely won't happen, i spent over $260 in gas alone to get their and back in the tow rig. I was discussing a possible run to the Cliffs in IL maybe in the fall.

That is not too bad really for gas. It was like 240 for us in the cummins dodge pulling the bronco.

The funniest part about that climb is after the truck settled back on all four tires CTB2 yelling to me to see if I got a pic so that he could back down. :tonka:

Man, by the time you're done cutting on that thing you might have better off with just a pickup cab. Sweet truck though. :thumb:
