Not Another CTOR Build

Dismantling the B2, Built a Family Hauler Wheeler. But i cannot beat the Explorer like a beat the B2 as i intend to keep the body straight and glass intact. But at the same time i love to built the crap and not care wheeling that the b2 offered. So i am building another rig.

Heres where i am starting.....

1st Gen Ranger Cab

Bronco 2 Frame (not the same frame as my old b2 as that one is bent).

Full Width D44 and 9"

and my 38's

Min. Lift as possible to clear the 38's
Already have 5.13's ordered for the axles
New set of Rims (on Order) and DIY beadlocks
Reuse my D44 Aussie from my other D44
Weld the 9" spiders
Most likely an Exo-Cage with some sort of bed cage
Mounting the Radiator behind the cab
Mounting winch where rad. would be
Chopping as much off the front of the frame as possible for best approach angle
Ext. Radius Arms and 5.5" EB coils up front and 63" Chevy springs in the back
Lots of other crap.

Gonna start real soon on the build, Going to Harlin. KY mid March and plan to take this with me. :teehee:

nvm seen the post about the b2

 

Got the 9" at work and starting dissassembly and clean up....

need to install a drain plug, rear hump cover and some type of truss.......time to hit the net for research and ideas.

Also got my New rims from summit today and the 5.5" EB coils.......Hope the 5.13 gears show up soon so i can atleast get the axles regeared. BAllistic said atleast 2-3 days before my Beadlocks will ship out

 

Truss the top. That is what i did. I used 1x1 square tube. Heavy wall as you can get. Or do the same on the back. Works good.

You don't seem to keep one of these long enough to get bored with it.

This sounds like it's gonna be fun to play with.

 

I know you said you had a front axle already, but it won't hurt asking if you'd be interested in a hp44 w/ 5.13's already? chromo shafts, ctm's, high steer and a boat load of extras...

 

i was looking for your sale thread before i ordered all my shit for the front axle. Kinda late now :fish:
