The funniest part about that climb is after the truck settled back on all four tires CTB2 yelling to me to see if I got a pic so that he could back down. :tonka:

i think if the truck was 3-4" lower to teh ground. I would have tried again. I think its time to lower the COG

 

it looked scary when you were on it, thats for sure........time for tube front fenders and the sawzall:naughty:

 

Man, by the time you're done cutting on that thing you might have better off with just a pickup cab. Sweet truck though. :thumb:

yes, what you can't see in the vid is the large rock and the stump sticking out of the top of the hill facing the tire of the truck. The rock and stump and right in the middle so you have to dive left or right at the top

I did find some new damage from the trip though...my trans crossmember was broken in half......i thought i broke the mount, but dropping the tcase today found i was wrong. Broke in half right next to the mount.

 

that sucks

 

What the hell are you doing now to it? Why is it tore a part?

i need to lower it......it sits to tall

 

My guess would be that the plasma cutter is going to be getting a good work out along with the tube bender.

 

i may have gotten a little carried away with the plasma yesterday :miff: I bought new bits and peices for the plasma ($100 in parts) and it works so nice now. I might have to work on damage control from my trigger happy finger yesterday.

I need to lower it cause the COG was to high. Their was a few obstacles i did not try at the Badlands last week, because of the tippy feeling. SO i removed the 3" Body Lift which means AGAIN i need to modifiy the cage. But also means i need to do some serious trimming to the body so the 36s can flex. They barely cleared the body when i had the 3" BL on so now i have lots to do.

 

Replaced the Tcase chain today. It was stretched and their was evidence of it slaping the case. I just pulled the cahin from a low mileage E-tcase. A new chain was $90 and i just don't have it right now. I am sure the used chain will do fine. It wasn't nearly as involved of a process as i thought it would be to change.

badlands always seems to find the weak point in rigs..........and lets you know that you have to much sheet metal :sonicjay:
