Looking at getting into this with my kids (7 and 9 yo). Wifey pulled this one up on sale. Just starting to learn myself about this stuff, this seems like a good deal, and offers some fun stuff out of the box for the kids, looks fun.

I'm not familiar with that, but in that price range I would also consider this, us.store.bambulab.com/products/a1

The Bambu stuff, in terms of user experience, is just lightyears ahead of the other brands on the market.

Need help identifing my problem.
I've been printing some Christmas Gifts for the past few days.
The first one this morning came out fine. But now I'm having issues. The lines are squiggly.
Elegco EN4PRO
Red extrusion is the first one this morning. Blue one is my issue. Issue started while using red, I then changed reels thinking it was material issue.

Multicolor is fun, I thought it was dumb and useless, but I don't see myself going back.

I agree, I just upgraded this week. I'm actually having fun with it now. Not only can I print multi-color, but I am not spending hours tinkering with the machine too.

I'm always skeptical when someone just knee jerk spews you get what you pay for.

Often cheaper things work just fine, and cost alone, is no indicator of quality or longevity, just ask the government.

But the Bambu stuff flat out works. Period, click, print, have thing. My wife has printed scads of Christmas gifts straight from the app and never touched the printer except to remove the items.

What I've learned, is stay to th sub 200 stuff, and fiddle with it, and it's fine and will work if your patient, or just go up to a Prusa/Bambu and print things.

I'm already wanting a second, but the next one I would do the P1S since I have the X1C for the tougher filaments. I'll be curious what the new one next spring brings to the table.

I picked this up on Wednesday night, and it has been printing for over 60 hours already flawlessly.

Meanwhile I tried to fire up my Ender for a little print and while it printed nice, the print still had a bunch of unacceptable issues.

Also just finished this for a co-worker. His wife found and bought his High School Mustang and over the last couple of years he rebuilt it.
He needed something to mount his air cleaner to his fender.

I designed it from these pics and sent him home with a "draft" piece made of cheap PLA.

He came back with a couple of alterations and I printed this out of PA6-CF Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament. Turned out really great.

What printer do you have? How did you like using that filament? I have not used nylon yet. I've used ABS, ASA, and the normal PETG and PLA is all....

This

And I upgraded the Hotend to this

I have printed in PETG, ABS Etc.
Also tried ABS-GF which has glass in the filament and was alright.
Tried PPS-CF10 with terrible results because it requires a hotend temp above 300C and my equipment just won't do it.

The air cleaner mount was printed out of PA6-CF Carbon Fiber Nylon Filament and turned out great on the first print. I will be using more of this. I printed at 290C.

I am looking to upgrade as I am using this tool more than I ever thought I would.
Looking for more bed space and higher temps.
