I need some new drill bits or bring my drill doctor home. Wanted to get the engine and trans crossmembers done, but my 1/2" bit was to dull to cut so I couldn't get the trans mount built. But I did get the engine mounts done. With the clocking ring I was able to lower the motor a little more then where I had it before.

 

that is a LOOOOOOOOONG lever arm for the engine mount bolts to support, especially on a jump or bouncing. I would think about moving the poly bushings to directly under the engine, and running a tube from the chassis out to the bushing. Basically the exact opposite of what you have now.

nope-stock. I run a speed denisty set-up. And I like it simple. My current motor is north of 200K and runs and performs great.

Nope, just loaded the van full of baby clothes for a friend, after somebody showed up late to look at it (but didnt have any money to buy it :whiz: CL ftw).

 

Hoping to spend.most the day working on it.

 

Didnt get nearly enough done today :whiz:. But trans crossmember just about done. Welder is almost out of wire but is binding trying to feed. Called it a day.
