going to wheel the LJ a little harder now?

 

I wheeled it pretty decent in Utah :sonicjay:.

 

Race 3 in the books. Took 8th. Another clean no penalty run :woot:. I belive that puts me in 3rd overall in standings (unofficially). Pretty good Imo for a rig with 200 horsepower lol. My motor is pretty much done. Barely registers oil pressure and knocking. Got to say it's served me well. That motor had 200k+ when I got it. And it spent time in a truggy I built, a EB I thrashed and it's been the only engine in my buggy. Only real work done to the long was a couple years ago when I needed to reseal a timing cover coolant leak and replaced the timing chain while in it. Pretty tough little Windsor :sonicjay:.

I'd like to LS swap it before labor day. But doubt I'm gonna find a donor before then. So I'll probably just pick up another junkyard roller Windsor and drop it in before then.

Lol, no.

I'd rather build a Windsor and keep it as is.

But, the reality is, I have every intention of selling this in the future. And a LS powered buggy is worth more and appealing to a larger potential customer base then a Windsor.

It's a harsh reality, I don't like excepting it lol.

It was a possibility. But tcase issues will most likely prevent me from completing it. So I'm not starting it till after most likely. Before loonie.

Putting a ford 205 behind a 4l60 without spending $500-600. Lol. And trying to keep the tcase where it is.

Me and a couple friends are getting creative. Guys run them behind th350s and 700s. Having a 4L60 with the 6 bolt adapter pattern is a little more challenging.

Biggest challenge is trying to not add a ton of length to it.

 

the toyota that i did last winter i put a ford 205 to a turbo 400. the adapter is 1.5 2 inches thick

 

Guessing you put the Chevy 32 spline female input in the Ford case?

Would be nice if somebody made a 27 spline female input lol.
