Ended up buying a torque converter today, wasnt planned, but after about 18 phone calls I couldn't find anybody that could clean a converter short of simply rebuilding it :whiz:. Motor is loaded and hopefully gets set in tomorrow

Pretty much got the front shaft sorted out..

That seems like the simplest answaer right there. Or what about adapting a factory OEM style rear truck shaft, with a carrier bearing support?

Motor, trans, tcase installed and bolted down :woot: that was way easier then I thought :sonicjay:. Well doing at the shop was way easier.

Yeah old motor and the trans I picked up from bones. Probably pick up another motor throughout the year and go through it with some mods and in the winter or so swap it out.

Running elec. sucks esc when shit doesn't match up :sonicjay:.

Putting things together sucks when you realize you forget things, like welding in o2 sensor bungs on your exhaust, after your exhaust is installed :fish:.

Last year I needed a hyd hose made for my power steering pump to orbital. The pump side had a specific fitting not found in hyd field. COmpany I was buying stuff from said they couldn't help me so I back yard hacked something together, while it worked for awhile it ended up failing and caught the eb on fire . So this time around I wanted it done better...all I needed was a fitting crimped or clamped onto a hose.

I went to mason dynamics---sent me to bond fluidaire cause they couldn't do anything
Bond Fluid aire sent me to thermo king because they couldn't do anything for me---
thermo king crimped the fitting to the hose for me, said no warranty if it leaked and charged me nothing . I am positive it won't leak and should serve me well :woot:.

And I can't figure out how to make my winters shifter work with my transmission. The driveshaft is to close and the cable is to dam stiff to bend and reroute.
