Time to start the front tear done and rebuild. So whats the best route with kingpins....springless caps? Anything better out there as far as rebuild kits etc? First time dealing with kingpins. Always had ball joint 60s before this.

I run springless.

 

Spring less here also..

 

Mine are stock. I've been running them since 2008 without issue.

 

I have springless caps too. Are you going to run high steer arms John?

 

I run standard high steer with springs..what is the advantage of springless?

 

mine are spring less also. using the spring style off road will wear out the plastic cones quicker.
pull it apart first and see what it needs before ordering the hole kit, most only need the plastic cones.

 

I've seen the springless come loose, wouldn't standard stay in adjustment with the spring?

 

I've seen lugnuts come loose on alum wheels too.

 

I have standard springs because I don't run highsteer.

Playing more with the 4 link. Mostly just changed the lower chassis crossmember and mounting. Feels good flexing it all around on the jackstands. In any position I put the axle it doesn't wanna push the chassis around on the stands. I can bring it straight up till the truss touches the chassis and I can flex one tire up to the chassis and drop the other till the rotor hits the floor. More travel then what my suspension parts will handle. I ordered 16" travel for the rear.

Truth. Havent touched it. I did something to my right elbow. Hurts to grip anything or pick anything up.

But i might go out Today and work through it. I got a dash friday. Might try and get it to fit.
