The thing I liked about the Seal All is that it actually sealed a dripping, cracked seam. Didn't have to drain it first. Will JB weld do this?
The putty has. I was working in the pits and a guy came in with a leaking aluminum tank with gas pouring out the seam. We rolled up some putty and sealed up the tank. We finished the pit and he drove out and did another lap.

Sx vs mtrk

Wheeling in Canada...

I would say the mtr had better traction/grip then the sx.

The mtr w/o a doubt on my kmc beadlocks were far better at holding air. In the past several years I can't recall one time I burped air from a bead. I typically had them @ 4 psi or less when not racing.

Sx, I had them around 8psi, found myself refilling them a few times throughout the weekend from burping air.

However, w/o a doubt, I put the sx in situations that I know would have wrecked mtr sidewalls. I have some pretty good chunks out of the sx sidewalls from Canada. Mtr would of torn open for sure.

Sounds related. Stiffer sidewall - burps air, but stays together. Softer sidewall - holds air, easy to damage.

Groove the SXs for better traction?

I think SX's need double beadlocks :(
Thanks to Dale at ironman offroad, he brought a rock monster to the glfwda meeting yesterday. I was able to test fit it on the jeeps front axle. And it clears my brakes. Hoping to save my allowance and pick up a set for the buggy and jeep for next year.
