Well, thought I start my post for the XJ build. You may know me and my MJ but had to get rid of her for the XJ. More room for the kids. But Not looking back for now. So the low down is I kept my 33x9.5 tires and the heart of MiNi Beast. my 8.8 410LSD disks, so thats going under the XJ replacing the 8.25, mounting the 1 1/2" UBE and 4.5 RE springs. Front is getting 6.5" springs with the RK 3 link LA set up. The XJ is 2wd, but already has 4wd conversion started less the tranny and tcase. Which I have a AX-15/231 combo waiting to go in after the lift.
So my very first Jeep...89' Wagoneer
Then my MJ, bought for $100 down in FL and drove back to MI...

ok the low down or summery to save you from reading a little, however good entertainment if you do. :sonicjay:

if you read some, I'm sure I have in there some where about the those type of answers you seek, however somethings had not been posted yet as I was just getting the pics up, been to busy to type out to much, so I'll go over it again to save some people from reading, i will be running fully plated frame, with internal cage, as rear air shocks will be integrated to it in the back, and cuts do no matter son, when you are not done, will be running tube along the rear cuts cleaning it up and making a set of tube fenders in a sense, i will be stretching the wheelbase to around 115", as have to when running a 42" tire. be swapping in an AX-15 external drive with a 231/231 doubler set up, this is to make way for the later up date of a SBC swap, be running D60 front 5.13's (locked, how? unsure yet), with a 14 bolt rear shaved and spooled disk brake conversion, running a 3 link set up in front and a 1 link (grader ball/heim) set up in the rear. Full belly skid and rear drive-line skid possible with the 1 link set up. so as of right now that is where i sit and that the basic plan that i ended up at. Time-line-there is none so don't ask, time does not matter when building something to last and right from the start. money/cost- I'd be done if i had some. :thumb:

tire size matters, what will you be running? and if you don't reinforce that unibody you WILL run into problems later down the road.
what type of locker will you be running in the front?
and with only one link in the rear, it seems like that would be unsafe and undriveable. how does that work?
have you ever considered droping a small block 350 in it? that would be COOL!!!
any plans to clean up those choppy comp cuts?
what wheel base do you plan on having when it's all done?
when do you plan on being done?

man your doing a damn good job and I look up to you and your build. I wanna my jeep to be a CJ version of your XJ. You ordered you doubler before me and I got mine to go as you did. I ordered my air shocks as soon as I found out yopu wanted air shocks. You are so awesome, I can't wait to hit the trail with our twin jeeps. :d:

find it funny how people can talk shit about mine or creeping death's build, yet never lend much of a hand nor even offer. So all I have to say is when I drive by you flipping you off out on the trail, or you need help with something and I "don't hear" my phone, then you'll know why.
