Well, thought I start my post for the XJ build. You may know me and my MJ but had to get rid of her for the XJ. More room for the kids. But Not looking back for now. So the low down is I kept my 33x9.5 tires and the heart of MiNi Beast. my 8.8 410LSD disks, so thats going under the XJ replacing the 8.25, mounting the 1 1/2" UBE and 4.5 RE springs. Front is getting 6.5" springs with the RK 3 link LA set up. The XJ is 2wd, but already has 4wd conversion started less the tranny and tcase. Which I have a AX-15/231 combo waiting to go in after the lift.
So my very first Jeep...89' Wagoneer
Then my MJ, bought for $100 down in FL and drove back to MI...

well may be a while as I pulled the jeep from the shop as I have no budget left for the "actual" building part of the jeep. Spent to much on parts. So I must wait a while yet but will press forward on what I can do myself anyways.

Well got the hood on today people wonder what it would look like well it fits good, and I have to say I was worried being so tall but I like it and adding a fan to the under side will serve it's purpose real well. :naughty:

worked hard on removing stock horn on flat top knuckle. Over at Creepy Death's house, getting some help and playing dirty :teehee:
Sorry, I could have popped that off for ya before I sent it out, just didn't have much time away from the office. It works best with the knuckle attached to an axle mounted on a vehicle, but it can be done in a SOLID vise too. Heat the arm with a torch around the cones, especially in between them. Get it red then smack the shiot out of the far end with the biggest BFH you got, reheat and repeat until all the cones pop out, they will walk out one at a time.

I picked those up from a good guy on here, they are steel wheels with the DIY beadlock kit on them.

I heard from around the way that you got a bigger badder fan than that too.
Yes yes, yeah only use the little fan for understanding purposes. the fan I got last night fits perfect under there, only minor trimming then fill in the 1 1/2 gap on each side of the fan to have a, solid-fan-sucking-hot-air-from-engine- hood -set up. :thumb:
