Some of you might know me, Collin, I've been to a handful of events in the last year or so riding along with @Ryanw10 or @BLZR. Well I decided to finally bring a build thread over here...I don't feel like posting all of my rebuild progress from when I totaled it until now but if you have any questions just ask...

It was stock when I totaled it and this is what it looks like now

I'm currently 8 lug rear 5 lug front. I should be 8 lug front and rear by the time I head up to Drummond on Oct 22nd. Last night I just picked up some Corbeau Baja JP Wide seats and threw them in, just gotta make a harness bar and get the 4pt's installed.

I've done all the work myself or with the help of friends so I can answer any questions you might have...for some reason there aren't a lot of JK build threads on GL4x4 :sonicjay:

Went down to my buddies house today to tear into the 6.0...can’t get pics to post for some reason but the engine looked pretty good. I brought back some parts to have Napa hot tank and also picked up 2.5 gallons of LS’s Awesome to clean the smaller stuff with.

BTR truck 3 cam, LS6 springs, BTR chromoly push rods, BTR stage 2 trunnion kit, 243 heads, gen 4 TBSS intake, gen 4 TBSS injectors, larger throttle body, probably LS3 shorty headers. Also setting it up e85 capable since all that was required additionally was a fuel sensor.

More parts continue to show up. This week was transmission stuff. Custom spec’d Coan torque converter and a full billet aluminum reverse manual valve body with a trans brake and engine braking from FTI. I did not intentionally buy a trans brake, but apparently all of their billet valve body’s come with one, which is neat. I just wanted engine braking.

Couple weeks ago I finally installed the trunnion upgrade, didn’t realize I needed new valve covers to clear the upgraded trunnions but not a huge deal I’m hoping to pick some up this week. Wrapped up some motor mounts tonight.

Once I get the new valve covers I should be able to finally land the engine between the frame rails. This weekend I’ve cut every factory mount off and flap wheeled the frame down bare. Th400 to atlas adapter should be here this week also.

Also picked myself up a new welder, $200 out of pocket I couldn’t say no.

-05+ SD60 calipers
-D60 5.13 gears and bearings
-Anything else you might think is related to my build

Ordered a new Lenovo thinkpad yesterday. Got a nice one with upgraded ram and processor for 40% off thanks to their “back to school” sale. It’ll finally be nice to be able to run CAD, bendtech, as well as Holley tuning software on my own machine.

Ordered my coilovers today as well. 4 week ETA, luckily my next planned wheeling trip isn’t for 6 weeks [emoji51]

I got my upper control arms in place last night. They’re some long bastards that’s for sure. Ordered some block hugger headers yesterday as well. This is going to be veeery interesting trying to get a driveshaft and exhaust to fit with everything in there.
