own it !!! some people pay BIG MONEY to get there shit looking like that. Tint the windows and slap a black flat bed on it and black out the rims and grill. It will look a heap better than 60 % of the trucks on the road today.

Last week I made these little mount doo dads to bolt to the 6.0 mount on my frame and provide a flat spot to run a tube up to the side of the Cummins, which is handily vertical.

Also, it seems very likely I can get the whole deal in far enough back to drop onto the stock Super Duty crossmember and use the stock driveshafts.

Unfortunately I came home last night to find it all laying on it's side :/, so I drug it all out and lined it up to install at some point this week.

Rather than watch politics circle jerk each other, I did get this heaved up onto the crossmember, needs to go down and back, or I need to cut the dog house out to get it back as far as I need it to be to keep the stock driveshafts I fear.

Have you checked ds lengths of diesel vs gas engines? They usually different lengths and so are auto vs manual. Dunno if your using obs or superduty ds though I’d think making your own ds be less work than the alternative

The Super Duty case bolts to the ZF5, so the plan is to just do whatever it takes to set the case in the stock location.

Idk about everyone else, but I've learned over the years that when I feel like the only way forward is to start cutting everything, it's probably time to walk away for a day or so lol. Usually when I come back everything just plops into place.

I'm not using a Super Duty driveshaft.

I'm using an entire Super Duty chassis, with the driveshafts, crossmember, axles all in and bolted up.

All I have to do is push this back until the trans mount drops on the crossmember, and the driveshafts that are already there, will bolt to the case, same as they did before.

So I have to get the turbo all put together, swap a new steering box and shaft on since I ruined mine :cautious:,run the real fuel lines, then mount the core support and fenders for real and I'll go back to my Toyota for the fall/winter.

Kinda cranked on this thing, it's whole, in terms of wiring, key turns power on in the cab, cranks engine, etc.

Needs radiator, transfer case, driveshafts, brakes.

Those are problems for Spring time though.

When I put this away in the fall, I had hooked up the fuel lines, but it wouldn't pull fuel for some reason from the stock Super Duty tank.

That reason was the tank was empty lol.

9 gallons of diesel and used engine oil later,
