ive got a buddy with a newer ranger that he wants to lift and lock so im suggesting an sas on it instead of him wasting time and money on suspension, locker and gears on an ifs. This thing has double wishbone ifs and rack and pinion steering. I did this to my dakota a few years ago and he wants to build it sorta like mine i think. Im not worried about makin the brackets, links or really anything on the fab side. Im just curious about what can be done about the steering. It cant be full hydro since this is a dd. Im thinkin a 44 front and he has a 8.8 rear.

um, put a steering box on it

IIRC some people like to use the waggy steering boxes and steering linkage adapted to the ranger frames - I've seen it where the steering box is mounted on the outer portion of the frame......obviously a custom steering shaft is needed to make the bends

But it'll probably be alot of fab
