I have a 1985 ford bronco with a 302 not sure the tranny. And I also have a 1978 ford pick up with a 351 with a bad tranny. I want to know if I can use the tranny from the 302 on the 351? Thanks

windsors AND clevelands are the same as the 302 as well as the 300/6. The 351m has the big block bolt pattern which would most likely be the engine in the 78 ford truck.
Clevelands were the undefined size back then. They have the big block pistons and heads for great flow and horse power, but used the small block bell housing. (300-6 , 302-8 and 351c-8 & 351W-8) share the small block bolt pattern and the 351M-8, 400-8, 460-8 all use the big block bell housing.
