so my moms jeep has 230xxx miles on it its a lil tired.. she was driving my uncle up north and she said it felt like her jeep had a flat tire so she pulled over and flames were shooting out from under her jeep all around the gas tank her rear end was on fire like engulfed. the police and fire department showed up my uncle ended up putting it out with a sheet.. because of my mom's jeep she has 127 by 496 in lansing shut down to 1 lane hahah just thought i would share lol

It seems that that is the place to break down and shut down alot of traffic. It happens everyonce in a while, Right there. Wouldn't really change though, there is always some form of construction around that interchange anyways. Sorry to hear about your mom's jeep. Hope she's ok.
