I decided to just buy new ones from jeff's Bronco Graveyard. Cheap insurance and they came with the inner bearing and seals.

Pulled passenger valve cover. Everything looks as it should and clean.

Bore scope shows the cylinders are in good shape. Sprayed some sea foam in there and turned the engine over by hand. Smooth and free.

Thank you. They did a great job designing this. It will be completely flat underneath as well. I'd love a straight up rock bouncer/buggy, but still wanted to drive it on the streets and around town. I just need to find people to wheel with now.

Yesterday I started working on the ram mount. Coilover mounts were in the way so I had to cut the tack welds off and remove the one side. Will be an easy fix to put them back on. Just need to trim the tabs.

The tubing was sent in two pieces. There is a sleeve that holds the halves together

New coolant temp sensor. I never mess around with non OEM sensors.

Pulled oil pan and was happy to see no sludge/metal chunks/issues.Does look like metal but its just air bubbles.

Checking to make sure the new pickup to pan clearance is good. It was.

The fuel rail hold down brackets did not work. Apparently no one makes rails to drop on a truck intake. So I made my own. Put the SWAG finger break to work.

Ober bent them slightly so they would allow for better clamping I'll clean them up and paint after I ensure the fuel injectors do not leak.

Retaining my Ram 2500 MC. Bought these fittings to adapt the bubble flare to inverted flare to make it easier to make lines.

These Copper NGK plugs seem popular in the LS word.

Ram clearance at full bump.

Now it's time to work on the front bumps and pads.

I have spent the last few days trying to come up with bump pad mounts...just can't seem to get it the way I want.

I unfortunately cannot help you with that. Long ago I switched from the stock YJ MC to a mercury unit, then to this. Grab a 3/8-24 nut or die and see if it threads into the current flare nuts....if they do then these are exactly what you'll need.

I bought these at AutoZone. I found the part numbers I needed from the AGS site. You'll have to ask the counter guy for them as they are in the back and not on the floor (at least for the store I went to).

I want to say the stock is probably 7/16 x 24 and 1/2 x 20

revision 4 or 5 front bump pad

7/8 x 7/8 rod ends showed up for the steering. I guess I failed to realize the bolt for the clevis is 3/4. Can't seem to find thin adapters... Looks like ballistic sells 1/16" thick when I need about 1/8". Sooo I took a pair of old ones and used the lathe to turn them to the perfect size. Of course I threw all the other ones away and need to buy new ones to machine ugh.

Cut out the front bump can mounts and tacked them into place.

First time doing a full droop test to check clearance on everything.

Found I need more clearance.

Moved the mounts further out and now everything clears. How close is to close? lol

I'm hoping you don't find those coilover mounts are too close. I have 2.0 air shocks up front right now and wanting to add some hydro bumps and coilovers to the front to replace the air shock. Mine mounts inside more on the axle and I really need to move them up and out on the "C" like you did. Being an EB front end, I don't have the "full size" width. I'll be watching to see how yours hold up. I'm sure with enough plate and welds they should be fine, but something I've been considering more for the packaging than anything else when trying to decide where to fit those bumps at.

Thanks Cool Hand. It JUST clears the coils at this distance. They use 2.0 coilovers...i'm running 2.5. I can see why now haha. I did some research and from what I found, most just run a simple tab. So I should be OK!

I hate these bearings. Good thing they are being replaced along with the new spindles.

Had to make a puller to get the 14 bolt yoke off.

Went with 1410

Torqued the nut down to match the 12-13 inch lbs. of rotational force.

Can you do an experiment? Replace that inner bearing and then put it on the shelf and see if it fails without being used. I think it will break on its own.

Seriously! Seems like you need to take the spindle off every year and grease it. Be nice if it had a zerk fitting.
