I have the XDM compact same pistol, but has a shorter grip for a flush 13rd mag, or the full 19. I love it, fits me great. And shoots where I want it, cant complain.

Honestly... It shoots like a dream. Recoil throwing 127 +p through it is so smooth its uncanny. I put 15 through a G19 and then picked up this and put 19 through it and it was a night and day difference on the felt recoil. Its built like a tank and super easy to clean.

However... I finally got to shoot my SP101 today, and I like the feel of it much better. This XDm has been locked up since I bought it and put the rounds through it the day after I bought it. I dont want to just have something sitting in the safe. I would rather have something I will more likely throw into carry rotation. I didnt think I would like limiting myself to just 5 shots, but since I was able to put them all dead center at 5 yards on the first pulls of the trigger, Im satisfied 5 (6) is all Ill need.

I am in NO WAY disappointed or dissatisfied with the build or functionality of this XDm, but I have an XDsc that I will carry over this, so I want another wheel gun.

XDm kit = $550 this will be everything that came with the gun when purchased. I paid $670 and its only had 50 rounds through it.

3 extra mags and carrier = $75

R Grizzle IWB holster and mag carrier = $170 Right now you would be looking at around an 8 week wait to get these same items from him. Very high quality horse hide.

Decided to wear it today... Super comfortable despite the holster still being new and stiff.

I would also be interested in an SP101 with a 4" barrel. The GP might be a tad to large for what I want to do.
