What motor? Ease of swap? Special adapters needed? Did you retain the factory tranny? What tranny did it used to have?
6.2 GM, the most challenging swap I've done. I used a TH400 to NP231 adaptor and 1" spacer to retain the stock NP247 in the same location.
Had to remove the right upper control arm mount for the exhaust. I had a 4.5" long arm lift on that didn't use it.
No more sensors, electronics, codes, scanners.....
Lots of custom fab and wiring.
I have about $1500 in the swap. about the same price as a well worn used 4.7.
I already found a spare used 6.2 for $150.
It's not a daily driver, and I don't care about highway speeds or mileage.
