So, Ive found out this is a common occurrence on WJ's. Brackets were made cheaply, the round bar on mine broke ages ago.
While searching for replacements I came across this place http://jeepseatbracket.com/
Very heavy duty, way better than the original.
I put one in yesterday and yay, fully working seat for the first time in like 6 years!
Was wanting to avoid a junkyard one just to have it break again, and mine had the memory seats, hard to find.
I had to disassemble and re-assemble but am quite happy with the replacement kit :thumb:
