So.....................Like my apartment building has Wireless...It was great until the front office decided to rearrange the furniture.....Now I get about 12Mbps transfer rate............Not enough to look at porn and barely enough to post. I need to wait 2-3 mins with every new post and most times my connection just shuts down. After sharing my concerns with front office..well lets just say, they dont care.

Question ? Is there some type of signal booster I can buy to help my problem ? I can set my computer up outside on the porch and that works pretty good but, that is not gonna make me happy............................

I was thinking some rich fuk at living at shanty creek year round would have a wireless network. Or someone renting out their cabin for golfer's. Shanty sreek is a golf resort also right?

uh, they sell active USB extensions that would extend your receiver to where it gets signal.

Note ACTIVE, a passive extension will not maintain USB 2.0 speeds. And you can connect multiple active usb extensions.

Another option would be to purchase a network "bridge".
An external piece of gear with an antenna. Set it up to pick up that network where you get good signal (and typically a bridge will have better reception than a standard wireless card) and run a Cat5 line into your computer, or wireless access point.
