Need to rent one for two weekends near the end of the month. where is a good place to go?

Is there anything I need to know about renting one? I'm doing some work on a barn.

It needs to be ~45 ft. and hold at least one person and some tools.

your looking for a personal lift, not a boom truck I am guessing... don't get a scissor lift, and if your working on the roof a 3arm would be nice, but you can probably do everything with a "boom" lift that's just one arm. remember the farther you get away from the base the less weight you can have in the basket :teehee: and if your going to be dealing with a lot of materials get a bigger basket and these are not a "hoisting" tool!

Don't know if they have anything that big, but Orion Rental is a good place to deal with in the Orion/Oxford area. THey might direct you somewhere if they don't have a lift that high.

keep it clean, any rental place will charge you for damages if it is returned with paint on it

how much paint dripped on it is considered damage can vary though...safest bet is to cover it with plastic like you mentioned, damage charges can rack up pretty high
