I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler. It came from the factory with the 4 cylinder and the previous owners swapped in the 4.2L I-6. I have been driving it around for a couple months like this and just now realized something....my driver side mount isn't close enough to the engine, it is 1/2" too close to the frame rail and none of the bolts for the actual motor mount bolt to it...now I would just cut off and reweld the mounts...but they are hacked...so where can I get these mounts that weld to the frame? The dealer said they weren't serviceable and couldn't get them but I had a few people on jeepforum.com tell me they were able to get them at their dealers...so now what do I do? I am about to the point of fabbing up my own with 3/16"s plate and lots of gussets.
