Long story short....slow down at rail road crossings

I nailed the one at 16 and Grosebeck at about 45 and just about gave myself a concussion from hitting my head on the ceiling.

One bent rim later I have a new set of Soft 8s I need mounted. Does anyone know of a decently priced shop to get 5 tires mounted and balanced?

Current low price is $80 at Midas.

I always go to Allstate tire. They charge $10.00 per tire mounted balanced & installed.

I had my 35's mounted and balanced by the Firestone place on Mack and Alger(small side street around 8 mile) in Grosse Pointe for 10 bucks a piece. That crossing is terrible, hopefully will be a lot better after 16 is redone....again

i just got my 33" mud kings mounted and balanced for free.

good friend of mine works at discount tire.

Stay away from the main stream tire joints. You will get raped. Find a mom and pop style tire joint. Try Sam's tire. They use to be on 9mile Schoener(sp) area. Something like 5bucks a tire.
