MY truck has this AUX button below the stereo that the manual says can be used for cab lights that I dont have. when I turn it on I hear a relay click behind the driver seat so I figure it is already wired but where can I get to it. I want to use this for my strobe when plowing. its an 01 2500HD silverado

Thats what that button is for.

If Im correct there is a tap for it behind the third brake light. I will ask my brother as he hooked all of ours up.

In the crew and extended cabs it was near dead center by the dome light under the headliner. There was a little sheet of paper thrown in with the owners manual that gave the location and specs of that circuit. Had I not thrown it out I would scan it and e-mail it to you.
