doesnt your locker bolt to the ring gear? is it one assembly?
It is a complete assembly Detroit "NO SPIN" Locker. I have not thought about being able to remove a center portion for an "open" type carrier condition. Then again, if I pull it and sell it, I will just have to set the lash with another carrier. Then I will gain some cash for other jeep stuff,,,,, or Beer. Good thinking though. I know there are some Detroit lockers that install in a stock type, factory carrier. I think those are the larger axles, not sure.
