i need a rear drive shaft with or without u joints for a 1981 or similar cj5 asap
located in commerce so somewhat close:woot:

no sure what trans its a 4 spd , length is approx 14 inches

no one has a extra drive shaft sitting around in the garage?:confused:

14" is that running length? Approximately 14" I am sure that I have a couple in that area but it makes a difference on what position it is being measured in.

yeah 14" is yoke to yoke, it has to be smaller than 14" because of travel

HI,

Just because you mentioned it is about 14" I thought I would let you know I have this one which is about 14.25 as it sits. Might collapse a little more if the grease was forced out. Joints are good and it is tight enough. If it will help you, $40. shipped. I assume you took your measeurment with the tires on the ground? Is your transmission mount good (if the trans goes up, it would take more length). Also, eliminating a drop trans crossmeember kit would do the same but would increase angle.
