Yup, you're right, this bone head move makes no sense at all. They are caving in to the pressure from the left about trying to implement more kinds of gun control. Seems to me that this is an infringement on our second amendment rights. They are ending the sale of handgun ammunition, which doesn't make any sense to me.
They aren't allowing open carrying either, but still allowing CC...again..wtf sense does that make?
It won't change anything for their sales in the long run.
I talked with the guy there and he said they will sell what they have and not bring in any more of the AR and handgun ammo. So I bought 200 9mm, 200 5.56 and 200 .22They will still sell rifles, shotguns, and their ammo but won't sell ar ammo or handguns+ammo. I went and bought 500 more rounds of 9mm yesterday from them just because it's cheap and I'm an ammo hoarder.
No. The second amendment, just like the rest on the bill of rights, pertains to what the federal government can or can't do, not private businesses.Yup, you're right, this bone head move makes no sense at all. Again law abiding gun owners will be affected by actions like this not criminals.

Ill check back in a few days and see if they have any left and grab some more.
How do we not know that farther up the chain someone(gov) is greasing the palm of someone to stop selling ammo or guns? No. The second amendment, just like the rest on the bill of rights, pertains to what the federal government can or can't do, not private businesses.
Well I suppose under the current administration anythings possible. How do we not know that farther up the chain someone(gov) is greasing the palm of someone to stop selling ammo or guns?
I know it sounds a little conspiracy like but who knows. This kind of behavior falls right in line with their agenda. To disarm the populace a little at a time. By limiting ammo, not selling certain things or price increasing to make it unaffordable for most.
A private company choosing to not selling something, that's an infringement of the second amendment? Pretty sure that's not how that works.Yup, you're right, this bone head move makes no sense at all. You will when your stock goes upAs a Walmart shareholder, I do not agree with this policy.
It worked, i bought two boxes of .357 today.A private company choosing to not selling something, that's an infringement of the second amendment? Pretty sure that's not how that works.
If you ask me, WalMart is taking advantage of the mob mentality and is going to see a HUGE increase in gun and ammo sales. I do believe that all it has to do with the "gun control" BS is they saw an opportunity to make some bomb ass sales, and they're taking it; while at the same time making them more sympathetic to the morons out there that want GC.
What could be more perfect, appeal to the delicate sensibilities of the left, and use the hysteria that the right gets to make a shit load of sales of "going out of stock" guns and ammo.
The current admin would not be the ones to be working at taking away gun rights from Americans.Well I suppose under the current administration anythings possible.oke:
In a round about way it kinda is but not directly. They do have their right to not sell ammo or guns. Like what Dicks did. It really hurt their business. But Walmart is pretty big so it may not affect them too much.A private company choosing to not selling something, that's an infringement of the second amendment? Pretty sure that's not how that works.

No, there is no round about way. It's not infringing on anyone's rights. You have the right to own and use firearms, that is all the second amendment says. It says nothing about buisnesses must carry ammunition. In a round about way it kinda is but not directly. They do have their right to not sell ammo or guns. Like what Dicks did. If they do make their stores gun free zones it will keep gun owners/carriers out and make targets of shoppers. Maybe they should change their name to Target.
