We are coming to the table with a ten year plan for peace in the Middle East , but we are going up against Islam’s twelve century plan for world conquest. Solemeni or what ever the flick his name, was a genius. He was a master of his craft. He was the catalyst that brought the different brands of islamofacists together. He new all of them, but more important theye knew him. He was respected and revered and could walk among them and bring them together toward their common goal of defeating western ideals and wiping Israel off the map.
He was the alpha, the omega and everything in between. He was the master terrorist. He was terrorisms unified command system. HE brought them all together, he was the glue that binds them. He IS irreplaceable. Even democrats mourn his loss.
There will be another one, there always is.

FYI, we don't need their oil now. Plus, they are running out.
Maybe not, but as long as it's in demand they will be able to sell it to someone.

Plus electric cars run mostly on fossil fuel generated electricity. :teehee:
But not petroleum. But yes, we need to figure out that as well.

That's actually a big part of why I want us to develop electric vehicles. Then we wouldn't need their oil and could quit pumping money into the region.
You do know that now the untied states is the worlds number 1 producer of oil and gas?
It still takes oil and gas to produce the products to design and make all the parts and components for everything we use.

69% is used for transportation fuel. take that away, demand goes down, price goes down, money into the region goes down, our need to care about what happens over there goes down.

What are you going to do with all those toxic batteries when they die?

I'd be more convinced we could even support the infrastructure needed to charge all the electric cars if we could make it through the summer without power outages due to a/c use.

We hear of rolling blackouts in California because of demand. If they can shut down the power because of heavy use and demand what's to stop them from cutting the power when more people are using electric to charge electric cars?
It only seems to think that the more people consuming would put a greater burden on the system.
It looks like a form of control over the people.

Dammit, you caught on to our evil plan. It all started with Edison and Tesla. The idea that they were competing was just a clever ruse to distract people from the real goal, to get people to consent to having wires connected to their house. Next came public water systems, to we could control the water supply and, if needed, put "additives" into the water, you for your own good of course. Then of course came sewage systems, to further monitor people and their movements and health. After that we convinced people to use gas from a pipe for heating and cooking, thereby extending our control over your energy consumption. Government control mail was to monitor communication, as are phone and now the internet. And cell phone, that was a stoke of genius, not only getting people to voluntarily carry a tracking and listening devise, but to get them to pay for them and fight for the latest version when we need to upgrade our systems.

Further controlling transportation was supposed to be the next big thing. Since we couldn't get people to accept public transportation we had to find another way. We've had good success with people accepting monitoring and tracking devices in there cars, the next step was to convert everything to electric to have more control over how much you can use you car.

But you figured it out and ruined everything. I hope you're happy.

Not so sure it was an accident.

From what I've heard that the missiles were from old tech and had engine failures. Im sure they wanted to save face but they did want to kill americans. They chant it all the time.
Trump had shown great restraint in dealing with them. He didn't just fire back at them to retaliate. He could have but I believe he has something bigger in store for them.
Take about crazy plot twists. So Iran launches a bunch of missiles at our military bases and hurts no one, and then accidently shoots down a civilian aircraft killing all on board. You couldn't make this up.

And you were afraid they could mount a serious attack against us. :teehee:

No, more afraid we were going to "tit for tat" into a war and end up with Iraq part 2.
