So I just bought a set of 4 Treadwright Ultra Grip 30x9.5x15 for my 1998 Jeep Wrangler about 2 months and I have to say they are GREAT. The costumer service was great they were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had on their product. I requested that the tires be made from the BFG carcass and got the Ultra Grip option. In total plus shipping it cost $379.44 to Macomb, MI. When I got them I checked them out one of the Carcasses had been patched before so I called and asked about it, they said it would be fine they do a ton of test to make sure the tire will hold up for the long haul. I took them down to Sam's Club to have them mounted Discount Tire and Belle Tire wanted to much and then when they found out they were retreads then didn't want to mount them. Sam's Club cost $40 or so dollars and they were actually impressed at how well the tires balanced and the over all quietly of the product. So as of now I'm giving Treadwright Ultra Grip Tires 5 :brilliant:brilliant:brilliant:brilliant:brilliant out of 5. I will keep you all updated on how they wear and such.

I've never heard anything buy good stuff about treadwright. If i wasn't so cheap I would probably buy tires from there, but i prefer used tires for next to nothing.
I'm putting my dodge back on the road and a set of these are on the list... how does that tread handle and whats the road noise like? I was thinking about a 33" or 32" tire.
I had 30X9.5X15 from them on my dakota. Loved them I didn't get the ultra grip but got the mud tires and they were bad ass off road.( for a stock truck anyway)

The road noise is the same as any A/T tire and the on road and off road manners of the tires are great and with the Ultra Grip in slush and rain they are great. Driving home from work today in the rain I would have broke losse my old tires ( Pirelli Scorpion A/T) at least once merging into traffic or taking a corner, but with the Ultra Grip not once.
I just got mine today...

I woulda bought from them a long time ago... but they never have anything bigger than 33's. I need 35-37. Ehhh maybe someday they'll expand their inventory.
call them they were producing 37's on humvee tire carcasses and if iirc they have 35's in stock
I bought the BFG A/T pattern last summer and they look exactly the same. I have been very impressed with the way they have held up for the abuse that I have put them through. I have a locker in the rear and it still hasn't affected them very much still running 75% + of tread on my 31's. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone who is going to run a 31" tire, they look exactly like to BFG's and the only downfall was that they came on a BFG M/T side wall. I'm sure you could request the A/T sidewall but I just mounted the black walls out and no one ever notices.
Nice tires man they are going to look great.
Anyone have experience hauling heavier loads and trailering with their E rated tires?
I too love mine for the money ya cant go wrong.

neither of those sizes are posted on their website anymore. largest tire is a 33"

Make sure you don't run them on the road. I bought a set of 315/70/17's last fall. I read afterwards that you are not suppose to go over 45 with them (oops). They still have lots of tread but the caps are cracking. So now I have a set of rollers or offroad tires that will probably sit there and rot.
Where did you read that?

I have mine at 80 plus all the time...

says on the website that the tires are for on road use, and should not be under inflated (though it is done successfully often) In fact, people run millions of highway miles on retreads every year, unless you are referring to the over 35" tires... though that is probably more of a balance issue.
i have ran a set of these since 2007, getting ready to buy another set next month.

33 and under are fine to run on the road.

I was quoting marine_mike when he said he needed 35-37's for his truck and I said to be careful. I have the m/t's and they balanced fine, less then 5k on them and I won't be using them for anything other then maybe putting in a few hoists.
I know where you could find a nice set of used 30x9.5/15 treadwright ultra grips...
Petersons or four wheeler did a write-up about them a few months ago.
