i have a 89 yj i pulled the t case out of. i put a jack stand under the tranny to kinda take some weight off of it. i was wondering if it would be ok to remove the jack stank and push the jeep out of my garage or should i make a support and bolt it on where the skid plate was to support the rear or the tranny. thanks

you most definatly want to support the weight of the trans . That is A LOT of weight to have just support by the engine mounts...

You could just take a board, and C-clamp it to the frame rails. Or take a ratchiting strap and use that.
