I just replaced our 249 with a dodge 231, and ever since I did this swap, the tranny sits there and biulds pressure then "jumps" in gear. It never did this before, just didn't have lo-range, hince the swap.
It jumps in reverse and forward gears, also once stopped with brakes on, it's hit or miss that it will jump again. The tranny is full of fluid as is t-case.
Am I missing something or do I bite the bullet and rebuild it or get a stronger tranny?:confused: It's mounted to the 318.
