What all different are the stock guys gonna be running verse the unlimited guys. Heard different lines back at picker valley and guessing not going over the wall??? Had few people thiking about entering but didnt know what to tell them to expect

O and do the stock guys need a full cage also even with full body street driven vehicle

the side by side class really needs to be broken into stock and modified. The stock razor isn't even in the same class as the "s" or the can-am. And having the stock class running against modded motors is really fair either....some of the turbo motors and weber conversions put down some serious power

 

will have stock and modified if there is enough people.this will be the first year for these there so need to feel it out first.

 

what type of race timer system are you guys using? I have a transponder from my road racing days I wonder if it will work?

 

don't think so.
you get the transponder from them.you have to turn it back in at the end of the day.

 

class c is full of sick rigs!! class b has a big name in it.(hosejockey):teehee: and honcho is racing!!!:rock:

hosemonkey is fast...those guys in b class that havent race against him are going to find out...need to get JonnyJ and the fatpig in for b class

 

mines getting motor swap as soon as the old one sells. nothing like the motors some of these guys are running but hopefully enough to be consistantly fast and staying cool. might have to upgrade the radiator though. mine ran hot the whole race in the fall. june and august could be killer for some vehicles and over heating.

 

better get a bigger set of balls too...:sonicjay:

I'm in for at least one race for sure...TREC is the same price with way better payout...I can't wait to see the course

 

does trec have sponsor prizes that go with the payout? i know last year i was racing for the 1st place price more than the payout.

 

So how serious is the rock crawling section? My RZR is sitting on 26" tires and only has around 12" of ground clearance, so I can't handle much compared to a full size rig.


My RZR should be turbocharged by spring, so the open sections should be a blast...but I'm a little worried about the rocks. I guess its time for me to upgrade the skidplate.


And is there only one side x side so far? I can post this on another forum and possibly get some more local guys if needed...

 

there will be some rock sections but nothing a razor won't be able to get over i would recommend a skid plate, hopeing for more side by sides if you want to post on another forum that would be awesome :woot:

:sonicjay: He has a buggy to finish. I'll be ready, going there now to put it back together, had to take care of some rust, added a lift. Today's list; grind, paint, build rock sliders, and hopefully more. Maybe have a :beer: or two.

 

With the side x side class...do we need a co-driver/passenger? One of the guys on RZR forums asked this question, and I was wondering it myself. The extra weight of a passenger on a low-hp rig like most side x sides really slows you down quite a bit, and make the rock sections much more difficult.

Also, the rules say a winch is required...I don't have one on my RZR, but I can't imagine there are any sections I wont be able to make it up unless it is extremely muddy. And if I were to flop over on my side or upside down, I should be able to flip it over by myself (done it before), but if I bring a passenger...there will be no problem with flipping it upright with no winch.

 

up to the driver if he wants a passenger.the winch rule does not apply for the side x sides.

i checked out your thread nice job! that is what it takes to get the word out.after you run this track in a side x side i believe everyone will want to run it.it would be a complete blast in one!

 

the dates have been confirmed also added 2 more to class A and one in class B keep the entry forms coming

i know it was mentioned earlier but i didn't see any details so I'll bring it back up. what happens when the C class fills up? I want to come over and race but can't make a commitment to all four races right now. can i just sign up right now and bail later if i have to?
