Is your land flat?
As flat as a board I have a 800 yard range with 2 foot elevation change in it, makes it hard to get the water off when we get an inch or two of rain.

Can you dig a pond so it can drain somewhere, or trench it somewhere you don't mind it puddling?

Over the last 12 years I've been slowly trenching my "swamp" and apparently where I think is a good spot to trench so did everyone else because I keep finding clay tile. My goal is to get rid of mosquitoes as my property's trails are all fairly dry. Your tractor would totally get stuck in it though as it's way too heavy for those tires.

wish you weren't on the other side of the state, I'd like to play with some longer distances with my rifles lol

x2 on the possibly digging some small runoff ditches on the sides to shed the water a bit

That is in the works, I have been looking for a excavator option for a few months now when the right thing pops up I will be hauling it home. I have around 7 miles of trails that need ditched

800 yards?!? Nice! The most I have access to is 300, but I have to drive a bit to get there.

It'd take a shit ton of work, but you can dig some smaller collecting ponds on the sides of the trail; gives the water somewhere to drain to, even on flat land.

If you're really feeling spunky, you can dig in basically a culvert in about every 50 ft, but in stead of a culvert put in drain tile with yard fabric wrapped around it, washed stone base, and backfilled washed stone. Even with flat land, water will rush to the lowest spots. Keeps it off your trail at least. Way overkill though

Defintely agree to at the least dig some collection ponds, don't need to be very big.

Along the 200 yard range where i had open field I could turn Lou perpendicular to the trail which worked great but in the rest of the trail the brush is to thick for that hence the need for a excavator, I what to put a 2 foot ditch on either side and stack my spoils on the center of the trail to build it up. Like all my projects it is just a matter of time and funds but I will get to it someday.
