This is my Jeep as of today. I have 6 weeks before I am heading to Tennessee. I'm cleaning up the frame. Replacing the LT1 with an LS. Replacing the NV4500 with a 6L80. Putting in a wider front axle. Changing the steering setup. Changing the front suspension.

Wish me luck!

Have you seen guys attach their winch cable to the front axle? When climbing say a wall this helps by limiting how much the front suspension can unload while climbing. Adds the unsprung weight of the axle to the jeep to help keep from going over, end over end.

This video is not my jeep and he is using an additional winch hidden under jeep. I am using a hyd cylinder and a limit strap.

I've been waiting for this day for awhile. For the last two years the body was at my work place and the chassis has been at my house, 50 miles apart.

Last night I was able to get the band back together again.

Prior to mounting the body I applied some heat shield.

Before someone asks why I'm not using the overhead crane, saw cutters cut thru the 480V feed yesterday morning. But I had options.
